Vidarbha captain Disha Kasat and left-arm pacer Komal Zanzad will be turning out for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) to be played in March 2023.
At the WPL auction on Monday, the RCB management roped in Disha at her base price of Rs 10 lakh while there was a mini bidding war for Komal before RCB bought her for 25 lakh.
In all, there were five players from Vidarbha in the auction list but Bharti Fulmali, Kanchan Nagwani and Janhvi Ranganathan failed to attract any bid and remained unsold.
