Maharashtra CA defeated Dinshaw’s XI by six wickets in a league match of the U-25 Bapuna Cup (One-Day) tournament played at the Jamtha Stadium on Tuesday.
Put into bat, Dinshaw’s XI posted a competitive 277/4 in their 50 overs, thanks to a fine unbeaten 107 off 117 balls by Sandesh Durugwar. He shared a rollicking partnership with Yash Kadam (71*) who also remained unbeaten.
Maharashtra batters came out firing on all cylinders and chased down the target in only 44.4 overs with Ranjit Nikam leading the way with a brilliant unbeaten 142. He was well supported by Aniket Porwal (51 n.o.)
